A Domestic Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is essential for homeowners, landlords, and property managers in the UK. It’s required whenever a property is built, sold, or rented, providing a measure of the property’s energy efficiency and carbon emissions on a scale from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient). The EPC includes recommendations for improving energy efficiency, which can lead to reduced energy bills and a smaller carbon footprint.

An EPC is valid for 10 years, and obtaining one is the responsibility of the property owner or landlord before marketing the property for sale or rent. This certificate is crucial for promoting energy conservation and supporting prospective buyers or tenants in making informed decisions.

These fixed prices are based on standard construction domestic dwellings, within the following postcodes. If a property is found to be of non-standard construction (e.g., unusual materials, complex layout, or extended survey requirements), the assessor reserves the right to apply an additional fee to reflect the extra time or expertise required on the day.
